Four Romanian teens have won a prize offered by the European Commission at the best content online Competition.
They were chosen from more than 1,000 participants, on the ocasion of The Day for a Safer Internet.
The ceremony was held in Washington and it was organized by the Commissioner for the Digital Agenda, Neelie Kroes, in collaboration with American authorities.
The moment was publicized and it could be watched, of course, anywhere in the world, online.
The four Romanian teens have created a blog with information for youth and children.
They want to warn the children about the risks they are exposed to on the Internet and how to access contents online in a safe way.
The blog is called "economicstar".
On this ocasion, European Commissioner, Neelie Kroes, also launched a youth's manifesto for a better Internet, based on ideas from them. RADIO ROMANIA reports.
