Four arrests in Calarasi for drug trafficking

Four people were arrested in Calarasi, following an action by the DIICOT territorial office. They are accused of high-risk drug trafficking. Two of the defendants were part of a network that has long been in the sights of judicial courts in Calarasi County.
According to the information provided by the DIICOT prosecutors, the 4 men were caught red-handed, carrying 400 grams of cocaine.
The drugs were hidden in the tank of one of the cars with which they returned to Calarasi from Germany.
The data show that one of the drug dealers brought in the county over 100 grams of cocaine, which he sold in Calarasi for the amount of 100 euros per gram.
Following home searches, officers specializing in combating organized crime seized more than 10.000 euros from the suspects' homes and a dose of cocaine.
