Former Minister of Health Sorina Pintea caught red-handed by prosecutors

Former Minister of Health Sorina Pintea, current Director of the Baia Mare County Emergency Hospital, was caught red-handed by the anti-corruption prosecutors while taking bribe for a purchase of medical equipment, judiciary sources confirmed to RRA Reporter Diana Surdu.
DNA prosecutors are currently conducting searches in Sorina Pintea's office and at her home. After that, former minister will be brought to Bucharest for hearings.
Sorina Pintea was the Minister of Health in the government led by the Social Democrat Viorica Dăncilă.
