Former Member of the European Parliament (MEP), actor Mircea Diaconu is Victor Ponta’s PRO Romania candidate for the presidential elections.
Leader of PRO Romania, ex-President of the Social Democratic Party Victor Ponta, believes in Diaconu’s chances in the presidential run, because he is "another kind of candidate".
People want change, Ponta stated, and PRO Romania can offer this change. Romania is currently in need of a new government, Ponta said, expressing interest for parliamentary debates when Prime Minister Viorica Dăncilă will request the investment vote for the new formula of her cabinet.
