The former head of the State Inspectorate for Constructions Adrian Grăjdan is under investigation by the DNA prosecutors to promote the offender, after he submitted a paper to the Supreme Court, concerning the withdrawal of the institution from "Quality Trophy", in which the former premier Adrian Năstase was sentenced to two years in prison .
He made this request shortly after being appointed in by the Prime Minister Victor Ponta and without the necessary approvals.
Adrian Grăjdan was dismissed Thursday by the premier from the head of the State Inspectorate for Constructions, but it is not known whether it will be withdrawn also the document sent to the Supreme Court in it.
The Prime Minister did not give a response Friday on the matter, but he rejected the allegations of justice obstruction brought by the PDL MEP Monica Macovei.
Monica Macovei claimed that he used State institutions in an attempt to protect from criminal liability some of his party colleagues.
"Ponta can make a single service to Romania, to resign.
" He created a premeditated scheme to get rid of the USL ones from -criminal liability ,practically Ponta restores the system Năstase- Stănoiu.
"Through these unprecedented actions, Ponta sends a signal throughout Europe that independent justice is not convenient to the USL and, from this point of view, Ponta is a direct threat to the position of Romania in the European Union," said Monica Macovei.
Prime Minister Victor Ponta rejected these accusations and argued that Adrian Grăjdan, when he was the head of the State Institute for Constructions, he had not been informed of his intention to withdraw this institution from the " Quality Trophy " file in which is involved Adrian Năstase.
"The action of that he was the general manager of ISC was personal, which is why I considered it normal to immediately dismiss him .
"It is useless to apologize for something that I do not consider I was accused by someone normal.
"On Tuesday when he issued that note, you probably remember that I was in Afghanistan.
"Otherwise, I have seen the statements absolutely irresponsible of several PDL MEPs and cost with great displeasure that their aim is to sabotage the interests of Romania", said Victor Ponta.
The former head of the State Inspectorate for Constructions Adrian Grăjdan is pursued by DNA prosecutors to promote the offender.
DNA accuses that without having the right, he sent to the Supreme Court sent a document which states that the institution was not going to become a civil party in order to recover damages in 'Quality Trophy " file, in which he was sentenced to prison the former Prime Minister Adrian Năstase.
Against that decision, Adrian Năstase did appeal, and it is currently on trial at the High Court of Cassation and Justice.
