Former Prime Minister Baroness Margaret Thatcher has died at the age of 87 after suffering a stroke, her family has announced.
She was "the UK's first female prime minister who changed way Britons viewed politics and economics", "The Guardian" said.
As RADIO ROMANIA reports, Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta expressed his deep regret for the loss of one of the leading world personalities in the 20th century.
Margaret Thatcher was one onf the most powerful women in the world who led her country during a challenging time, Mr. Ponta said.
