Ford to release new B-Max model in Romania today

The new vehicle model Ford B-MAX, was officially launched in the capital.
The model is manufactured in Craiova-based factory.
Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, B-MAX that will garner five stars in Euro NCAP safety tests, while being one of the most technologically advanced in Europe, according to manufacturers.
Ford expects to sell 2,000 units on the Romanian market in 2012, said on Thursday, when presenting the new model in Romania, general manager of Ford Romania, Henrik Nenzen.
Ford said that prices can reach , depending on the equipment, to 16,000 Euros.
Also in Craiova will be made cutting-edge engines, which in a displacement of only one thousand cubic centimeters, will develop a120-hp.
To develop the production, the American company recently announced that will hire 500 people.
Head of National Sales Company Ford Romania, Henrik Nenzen, says Ford B-Max aims to attract customers who traditionally looked for the car class C (compact), such as Volkswagen Golf and Opel Astra.
Ford Motor Company was back in Romania, buying, in 2007, the company's stake in Automobile Craiova, where he began producing again vehicles at an interval of 74 years, the first car that has made in Romania.
