Florin Citu: We are looking at the best solution for PNL and for Romania

The leaders of the National Liberal Party (PNL) and the Social Democratic Party (PSD) continued giving statements on the topic of negotiations between the two parties for the formation of a majority government.
The PNL president stated that Thursday's talks with PSD highlighted things that bring the two parties closer. On the other hand, Florin Citu says that the option of a prime minister by rotation is under discussion and added that, during this period, PNL maintains the discussions with Save Romania Union (USR) representatives as well.
Florin Citu: I talked to the two parties. We will go to the PNL with the conclusions of the two discussions, and the decision will be taken by the National Liberal Party, not by the PNL president. Now, we cannot say overnight that everything is good between PNL and PSD, but what I can say is that we are being responsible. I set out on this path to form a government and we are looking at the best solution for PNL and for Romania in order to find a formula to govern the country in the next period.
