Since Sunday all flights move from Baneasa Airport to Henri Coanda - Otopeni. It is for the low cost (cheap), will not return to Baneasa airport because it will become a luxury airport.
The question arises whether the prices of low cost flights will be as accessible, as Henri Coanda airport has other charges that operators have to pay.
Starting Sunday Baneasa airport operating fees will increase, it will be reserved airlines for business people and personalities.
Operating fees from Henri Coanda airport are higher than current fees at Baneasa airport about 5 Euros per passenger, about 25 lei, so that higher taxes will lead to more expensive tickets.
To these are added other higher taxes and rent space, too.
Night flights for low -cost operators on Otopeni
On the other hand on Otopeni, low- cost operators will be able to schedule landings and takeoffs at night.
Since October last year landing and departure were banned between 22 pm and 6 after people who live in the area have complained that they are disturbed by night flights.
