Romanian gymnast Flavius Koczi won the silver medal at the European Championships in Berlin in gymnastics individual all-around, the first men's medal achieved at the EC, after six years.

Romanian gymnast Flavius Koczi won the silver medal at the European Gymnastics Championships in Berlin in the individual all- around.
Flavius Koczi ended the competition with a score of 88.825 points and finished on the second place.
The Romanian was surpassed by a gymnast from the host country, Philipp Boy.
German Philipp Boy won the gold medal with a score of 88,875points, while the bronze went to Ukrainian Nikola Kuksenkov and Daniel Purvis, both finishing with a score of 88,350 points.
Flavius Koczi scored 16.100 points on vault, 14.255 points on high bar and parallel bars, 15,250 points on floor, 14.575 points on pommel horse and 14.450 points on rings.
Romania managed to win two European all-around titles during the European Championship, one by Marian Drăgulescu in 2004 and the other by Dan Potra in 2002.
In the past six years, the boys have not been able to win any medal at this all-around competition.
The women’s all-around final will start at 20.00 and Romania will be represented by Diana Chelaru and Amelia Racea.
The former came third in the preliminary rankings, while the latter finished on the 22nd position.
On Saturday, Sandra Izbaşa and Amelia Racea will compete in the vault final, and on Sunday, Sandra Izbaşa and Diana Chelaru in the ground final.
