The Romanians from abroad may submit projects for funding at the Department for Relations with Romanians Policies everywhere.
The session, which began on March 12 and ending on April 3, is aimed at the Romanian associations from abroad who have projects to maintain cultural identity.
To be eligible, projects must enroll in five areas: culture, media, education, spirituality and tradition or civil society.
The Secretary of State Department, Stejărel Olaru, said today, after a visit to Vienna and Madrid have attempted another approach for projects to be successful.
"You look by curiosity and see that every year, even though the budgets were small, such as this one, 10 million lei, they returned the money to the budget, was spent on all of the projects were not good. Or if they have been accepted, have passed the selection, they took them to the end.
"Because something happened, either the Department has not communicated well, or they have not communicate to the department well. Let's try a different approach! Not to give the money back to the budget, the few that is ! We struggle to maintain cultural identity. For that fund. such projects must submit "Stejărel Olaru said.
According to Radio Romania, correspondent Annamaria Damian, in Spain live over 900,000 Romanians, and the number of associations is over 100.
