Exercise with PATRIOT missiles in the Capu Midia range

A PATRIOT ground-to-air missile battery from the 74th Regiment executed, on December 2-12, a training sequence in the framework of the tactical exercise with troops and live firing F.A.PATRIOT SPARK 24.11, held in the Capu Midia ground-to-air firing range.
The exercise was aimed at verifying the system's functioning and validating it through live firing, as well as training with a view to increasing operational capability.
Thus, the PATRIOT system of the 74th Regiment has been certified and will perform combat service alongside other Air Force capabilities.
The 74th PATRIOT Regiment is equipped with three PATRIOT long-range surface-to-air missile systems, and the personnel who participated in this exercise have completed the TAFT Technical Assistance Field Team collective training program, the Ministry of National Defense reports.
