Events dedicated to the Romanian Land Forces Day

Military units all over the country will organise a series of events for the public from Saturday until Tuesday, when the Romanian Land Forces Day is celebrated. Thus, in partnership with local authorities, there will be several cultural and educational programmes, sports and military life related competitions, book exhibitions, military music concerts, documentary film screenings, as well as specific military ceremonies at the monuments dedicated to the memory of Romanian Land Forces Heroes.
In Bucharest, the anniversary events will take place in several parks and shopping centres, starting at 11:00 on Saturday. On Tuesday, 23 April, the Romanian Land Forces celebrate 165 years of existence.
