European Commissioner Corina Creţu is in Romania, on Monday and Tuesday, to sign a series of EU funded projects, together with Romanian Prime Minister Mihai Tudose.

European Commissioner Corina Creţu is in Romania, on Monday and Tuesday, to sign a series of EU funded projects, together with the Romanian Prime Minister Mihai Tudose.
Projects aim at improving the competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and the development of the environmental infrastructure.
Romanian Minister-Delegate for European Funds, Marius Nica, also attends the event.
European Commissioner has stated that many efforts have been made to implement in Romania the programs funded under the Cohesion Policy, and that progress is clear and needs to be continued.
Corina Creţu has scheduled meetings with several members of the Romanian Government, including Minister of Internal Affairs Carmen Dan, Minister of Transport Felix Stroe, and Minister-Delegate for European Affairs Victor Negrescu.
She will participate in a series of events on European funding.
