European Commission, a new infringement procedure in the case of Romania
Articol de Radiojurnal, 16 Iulie 2021, 05:34
The European Commission launched the infringement procedure for Romania, because it did not allow access to the Union's one-stop shop for small and medium-sized enterprises that sell telecommunication, broadcasting and television services or electronic services to consumers in the community.
In the letter sent yesterday, it is called on the Bucharest authorities to adapt the national legislation within two months, in order to allow access to the portal to these companies as well.
The European Union's one-stop shop is the portal through which sellers can register as VAT payers in one Member State, but can declare and pay this tax in other Member States.
