Education Minister Ligia Deca on digitised assessment of written papers in national exams

Education Minister Ligia Deca says that the digitised assessment does not affect the types of subjects, the scales or children's working time.
The only difference is that the work will be automatically secreted when it is scanned, in the presence of the pupils - the minister said in a Facebook post.
Ligia Deca admitted that the change may be viewed with reluctance, but piloting the digitised assessment for two consecutive years, then extending it to last autumn's baccalaureate for all candidates showed that the change was a much-needed breakthrough.
The education minister said that the papers of students taking part in the National Assessment simulations this week will be marked using the digitised platform.
On Monday, 5 February, 8th grade students will take the Romanian language test and Tuesday the Mathematics test in the mock exams.
