Draft Laws of previous cabinets, withdrawn by Ponta government
The government has requested the withdrawal of drafts initiated by the previous cabinets and being on the order paper of the plenum, stated the Minister for Relation with Parliament , Mircea Duşa.

According to the Minister for Relation with Parliament, Mircea Duşa, the executive has requested the withdrawal of drafts initiated by the previous cabinets and being on the agenda of the plenum of each chamber of Parliament , in order to be reconsidered by the government, inform Agerpres.
“The procedure represents a parliamentary practice, as changing the government, the draft laws being in parliament’s debate and initiated by the previous government to be withdrawn”, stated the Minister.
Mircea Duşa has made the request on Tuesday, but he did not refer also to the normative acts which involve urgent measures as those regarding the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (MCV) on Justice or the draft for ratification the European Economic Governance Treaty, which was also adopted this week in the Lower Chamber , as first seized forum.
The measure does not apply to the draft laws initiated by the government and still being within committees, because these can be changed by ministries until they arrive within the plenum.
The executive has demanded to review also the points of view given by the previous executives on the legislative initiatives being within parliament debate, in order to make possible changes regarding the position of Victoria Palace on those certain draft laws, has mentioned Mircea Duşa.
Also, the vice president of the Senate, Ioan Chelariu, has specified that in a week Mircea Duşa and a team from the government can review all the executive’s points of view.
“In a week, the Minister for Relation with Parliament, Mircea Duşa, and the team from the government may review all the legislative initiatives upon which the previous governments have agreed.”
“The request came from the government and refers to all legislative initiatives for which there is a point of view of the executive”, stated the social-democrat senator.
