Dominic Fritz says he is considering a run for USR presidency

Yesterday's election results led to the resignation of the USR President. Catalin Drula resigned and announced that he will call a party congress to appoint a new leadership, indicating the mayor of Timisoara as a possible candidate for the party's leadership.

Dominic Fritz, who has secured a new mandate, said that USR had achieved a score that did not match the ambitions and potential of the party and the United Right Alliance.

He said he is assuming a run for USR president at the party's next congress, but also ruled out a possible run for president this year.
