Doctors who provide more prevention services will receive "bigger" bonuses, declared today the president of the National Health Insurance House, Adela Cojan.
She explained that the 2023 budget allows for this increase, and the settlements for the new vaccines will be introduced from the middle of the year.
Adela Cojan also said that the vaccines included in the national calendar for children remain "an element of the national strategy", so their financing will continue to be provided by the Ministry of Health.
Instead, the National Health Insurance House takes over the vaccinations that are not mandatory and that target certain groups of the population - by age groups and diseases - and for which the government has provided a certain level of compensation.
