Dobrogea Day was celebrated in Constanta, on the occasion of the 145th anniversary of the reintegration of the region into the borders of the Romanian state in 1878.

The special guest of the authorities at the demonstrations organized today was the British journalist Charlie Ottley, the author of a documentary series about Romania.

Episode III, dedicated to Dobrogea, ran at the "Jean Constantin" Multifunctional Center, where those interested were invited to attend a show of Dobrogean traditions. Charley Ottley announced his intention to collaborate with the local authorities to make a promotional film for the city of Constanta.

"For years people came here just for the beach, but there are so many interesting things to see in Dobrogea, and I am convinced that for cultural tourists from all over the world Constanta can become an absolutely fascinating place, and we hope to make a film of promoting what Constanta has more beautiful and interesting to show. Happy birthday, Dobrogea!", Charley Ottley wished them.
