DNA requires waiver of parliamentary immunity of L. Borbély
The Environment Minister, the deputy Laszlo Borbely is accused by the DNA prosecutors of committing two crimes of influence peddling and the offense of false declaration of assets in the form pursued.

National Anticorruption Agency notified the the General Prosecutor to request the Chamber of Deputies to proceed with the case for prosecution of the Environment Minister Laszlo Borbely.
DNA accused him by two crimes of making traffic of influence and crime of misrepresentation of wealth in the pursued shape.
László Borbély refused today to comment concerning the accusations.
The Democratic Liberal Party will vote to waive the immunity of deputy to the Environment Minister Laszlo Borbely, said The Senate President, Vasile Blaga.
"The Democratic Liberal Party will do what it always did, we did not ever obstructed justice to do the job. Of course, as always, even if they were at the party in question, did you see that, operative, the parliamentary group was in position to vote, voted very quickly." said Vasile Blaga.
The research in the case of the environment Minister began last summer and since then DNA confirmed that the minister is involved in the case where his advisor was charged.
Anticorruption prosecutors argued that a company representative tried to buy László Borbély influence through his counsel by conducting a development project of his apartment worth 20,000 euros.
According to DNA, the works had been performed to obtain, through the influence of the minister, the contracts with the Romanian Water National Administration, as well as the payment priority of the previous work contract.
On that date, the environment minister said that the DNA accusations are unfounded, but that justice will be allowed to do their duty.
