The son of the former comunist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, Valentin Ceausescu spend a lot of time in court to obtain the legal approval to open the graves.
The only surviving son of the former rulling couple, Valentin Ceausescu, and Mircea Oprean, the son-in-law of the comunist leader, want proof that the Ceausescu spouses are really in those graves.
"After what I saw, I think it might be them, but we are waiting for the result of the analysis to be certain", said Mircea Oprean.
The alleged corpses of the Ceausescu spouses were buried in Ghencea cemetery, in Bucharest.
"If the analysis proove its not their corpses, we will sue the romanian goverment to find out were thier corpses really are", said Mircea Oprean.
Valentin Ceausescu and Mircea Oprean obtained the right to exhume the graves in court, after in 2009 they became the legal owners of the graves.
The result of the DNA test might be ready in six months, acording to the forensic institut director, Dan Demergiu.
Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu were executed on Christmas Day, in 1989, after they were convicted for "genocide".
