RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Digitization is important for the reform of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF). However, it is difficult to put into practice and to follow, but necessary, says the president of the institution, Lucian Heius.
He added that through the NRRP funds are allocated in this regard, and the process would end at the end of 2025.
Daniela Vasilescu reports: “Over 350 million euros are allocated for the digitization of the Ministry of Finance and implicitly of ANAF, and at the end of this process the authorities want to have a modern, digitized fiscal administration that meets the needs of the business environment, said the president of ANAF, Lucian Heius.
Lucian Heius: “I want this digitalization to increase voluntary compliance with declarations and payments. How do we do this? Provide as many services as possible to the taxpayer. At the same time, we need to have platforms that allow us to respond to the challenges that exist in the market and to be able to do those famous risk analyzes and identify where things are really happening that should not happen in the future, in a normal economy and one as fair and honest as possible."
Lucian Heius also specified that the completion of the entire digitization process of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration is provided in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan on December 31, 2025, but the authorities want to end this process two years earlier.”
