The Day of Romanians Everywhere, marked every year on the last Sunday of May, brought together these days, in Bucharest, several artists from the country and abroad, as part of a special festival.
Friday's program included a visit to the Village Museum, which was also attended by Romania's cultural ambassador in Paris, Oana Lianu.
Oana Lianu: Being a musician by profession, I found myself completely at the Village Museum, which I visited, where I sang, where I connected with Romanians everywhere and, of course, even if I wasn't a musician, it's a place where the heart and soul vibrate at any place of land that reminds us of the fact that we are home. Romania is dear to me and I always rediscover it and, if I don't, I look for it to find again the beauties that our country, undeniably, has.
Producer: The Festival of Romanians Abroad will end today, with a concert by instrumentalist Damian Draghici, held at Sala Palatului.
