Romanian Swimmer Daniel Martin won the bronze medal at the World Junior Swimming Championships in the 100 meters backstroke.
At the Indianapolis (US) competition (23 August-28 August 2017), Martin was the third, with 54'55. Spanish Hugo Gonzalez with 54'27 (a new record of the competition) won the gold medal, and the the silver medal was won by Conor Ferguson, from Ireland, with 54'51.
The previous record of the test at this level was held by Robert Glinţă, 54'30.
