Two US F-22 Raptor aircraft participated, on 21 August, in a joint training with the F-16 aircraft of the Romanian Air Forces at the RoAF 86th Air Base in Borcea, and with US F-15 aircraft temporarily stationed at RoAF 71th Air Base in Câmpia Turzii - in the "Dacian Eagle 2018" exercise.
At the end of the training, Romanian Minister of Defense, Mihai Fifor, and Chief of Defense Staff, General Nicolae Ciucă, welcomed the American and Romanian pilots and congratulated them for the way they carried out their missions.
