Dacian Ciolos: School must start on September 14

Articol de Radiojurnal, 07 Septembrie 2020, 03:43

School must start on September 14, and the students should be able to go to classes in safe health conditions, said today, in Sibiu, the co-president of the USR-PLUS Alliance, Dacian Ciolos.

He stressed that the authorities had enough time to prepare for the opening of the new school year.

Dacian Ciolos: Normally, there should be no reason for school not to start on time. I say this very directly, I hope the government does not play politics regarding the opening or postponing the opening of schools, because the local authorities have a responsibility to prepare the infrastructure to be ready to receive students. Also, the ministry has the responsibility to prepare everything regarding teaching. So, yes, I think schools should open. Obviously there are risks, but that's why we have authorities - to reduce those risks.
