The Dacia autovehicle production will be partially interrupted starting on Monday.
Therefore, the activity of the biggest Romanian car construction company, namely the „Dacia Autovehicle Plant” in Mioveni Arges, will be partially interrupted for 3 days, on the 18th and 19th of June and the 2nd of July.
Most workers at the plant in Arges will be on strike due to their being technically unemployed and their remuneration will be reduced to 85 per cent.
.Out of the 13.500 employees of the company almost 9000 will go on strike.
The company’s representatives issued a statement saying that the reason for the interruption of company’s production is the smaller number of orders and the accumulation of stock cars at the factory in Mioveni and in the nationwide commercial network.
The Dacia factory will halt its production for a second time this year, but it hopes that the government will give a favorable answer to the solicitation for the triplication of the money allocated to the Rabla programme, which would boost the number of sold cars.
The other departments of Dacia that aren’t involved in the production of autovehicles will adapt their activity to the number of orders and the scheduled programmes.
