Women's Handball Team CSM București has qualified in the Final Four of the EHF Champions League, although it was defeated by the French champion, Metz, with a score of 27 to 20, in Sunday's second leg of its quarter-final tie.
Match was extremely difficult for “The Tigresses". While consistently down by eight or nine goals in the second half, the Romanians managed to control the deficit and booked their ticket to the Women’s EHF FINAL4 for the third time in a row.
CSM București won the Champions League trophy in 2016, while last year it ended the competition on the third place.
The other three teams who have qualified for the 2018 Final Four are Gyori Audi ETO KC (Hungary), Vardar Skopje (Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) and Rostov-Don (Russia).
"The Tigresses" will take part at the Final Four tournament, held in Budapest, in Papp Laszlo Arena, on 12-13 May.
