CSAT approves Romania's participation in PESCO
Romanian Supreme Council of Country’s Defense (CSAT) approved Romania’s participation in the EU Permanent Structured Cooperation in the field of Defense (PESCO).

Romanian Supreme Council of Country’s Defense (CSAT) has approved today Romania’s participation in the European Union Permanent Structured Cooperation in the field of Defense (PESCO).
According to the Presidential Administration, Romania will express its preliminary intention to participate in an initial set of 10 projects out of those already drawn up by the EU Member States, projects whose subsequent development corresponds to the national priorities for the development of military capabilities.
CSAT members also agreed to take steps to streamline the endowment of the Romanian Army.
