The first edition of the Cross Border Agricultural Forum Romania - Republic of Moldova will take place at Cahul on Friday, with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture, Valeriu Tabără.
Farmers, agro-industrial entrepreneurs and representatives of state institutions will take part in the event.
The purpose of this forum is to boost the bilateral cooperation between Romania and the Republic of Moldova by stimulating the collaboration between farmers and the efficient use of financing mechanisms
On Thursday, at Galaţi, the Minister of Agriculture, Valeriu Tabără, spoke about the importance of the forum, but also about the joint projects with the Republic of Moldova that could be achieved in the future.
‘I think our relations with the Republic of Moldova and especially our status as a full member state of the European Union and our sister the Republic of Moldova allow me to say with the aspirations of a pro-European Government and attitude that Romania should be able to develop relations also by means of such events.
‘The Cahul event is, moreover, a cross-border partnership. I want to tell you that we have established an effective partnership between the Association of Producers and Importers of Automobiles in Romania and the Association of Producers and Importers of Automobiles in Chișinău and I would like this partnership that we have discussed about to be put in order with the help of colleague Vasile Bumacu with whom I will have a meeting’, ValeriuTabără said.
