The validity term of the antigen certificates for coronavirus has been extended to 48 hours, and for the PCR tests the term remains 72 hours, announced the Minister of Health, Ioana Mihaila.

According to her, the ordinance adopted on Monday by the executive modifies and completes Law 55 of 2020, so that people who are fully vaccinated will benefit from meal vouchers worth 100 lei.

The Minister also announced the creation of the necessary framework for the use of Covid-19 EU digital certificates in Romania as well:

Ioana Mihaila: STS representatives have also developed a secure application through which these certificates can be verified, and practically any representative of a public or private institution can from now on, if they download the application, verify the veracity of a COVID-19 certificate. It should be mentioned that the presence of the identity card is also required when verifying this certificate.
