Consultations of the President with parliamentary parties

The no-confidence motion initiated by PSD and ALDE against Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu was adopted on Wednesday in the plenary session of both the Senate and Chamber of Deputies. 241 MPs voted in favor and only 10 against.
Premier Grindeanu was dismissed and soon will begin the constitutional procedures for the forming of a new Government.

President Klaus Iohannis leaves Berlin heading directly to Brussels to attend the Summer European Council.
