Construction labour shortage

The shortage of labour in the field of construction in Romania is about half a million people, draws attention the Romanian Association of Highway Builders.
According to a press release, this sector needs Romanians who have returned to the country, in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, and, for this reason, the members of the organization propose to the employers in the field and to the authorities a plan for their employment.
Among the measures are the creation of an online job market in the field of construction and the establishment of a partnership between the state and companies for the training of the labour force.
