Constanta's historical area will be rearranged
In a year and a half, the peninsular area of Constanta will become what was once the city's promenade area.

Wednesday, in Constanta, began the restoration and refurbishing of the old town being in decay since 1989. The funds come from the European Union and private investment, and work will take about a year and a half.

Finally, after 20 years, with the rehabilitation works private investment also have appeared.
The peninsula streets will be paved with natural stone, the traffic will be restricted and Ovidiu Square will be a pedestrian area with cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops.
The peninsula will be surrounded by a ring on which the traffic will move, a ring that will continue with Elizabeth Avenue and a section of coastal road, which will start from the Navy Command and will reach the Dawn.
