Constanța Harbor hosts MCM DIVE 2017 operations
The exercise takes place in Constanța Harbor and in the Black Sea waters.

300 sailors from the Romanian Navy and over 30 military divers from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, the United States, Turkey and Ukraine participate in a mine detection and deactivation exercise, in Constanța Harbor and in the Black Sea waters.
In the multinational exercise "Eurasian Partnership MCM DIVE 2017", the Romanian Naval Forces participates with the Navy Minesweepers F-29 “Lt. Dimitrie Nicolescu", F-25 “Lt.Lupu Dinescu”, the “Grigore Antipa” diver intervention ship, two sea tugs, the “Alexandru Cătuneanu” maritime hydrographic ship and two squadrons of fighting divers.
The naval troops will improve their skills in executing operational search and identification procedures as well as neutralizing and destroying explosive devices under water.
