More than 4.700 restaurants, terraces and fast-food joints have been monitored for 24 hours, as part of actions aimed at checking the compliance with the measures to limit the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, especially in areas with a high epidemiological risk, announced on Friday, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Monica Dajbog.
The check-ups targeted almost 5.300 economic operators, 213 passenger transport operators and about 11.500 points of interest, including 4.750 restaurants, terraces and fast-food joints, said Monica Dajbog, at the MIA headquarters.
At the same time, over 73.000 people were checked and 6.000 were detected for not complying with the sanitary protection measures.
643 people did not respect traffic restrictions.
According to the MIA spokesperson, about 6.000 sanctions were applied in the amount of approximately one million lei, informs Agerpres.
