Code Yellow for Snowfalls
The National Meteorological Administration issued a Code Yellow snowfalls warning, from December 1st, 2.00 a.m. to December 2nd, 8.00 a.m.. Hydrologists also issued a Code Yellow flood warning for the rivers in the west of the country.

On Tuesday, the National Meteorological Administration warned that Moldavia, East Transylvania and the North of Muntenia/Greater Wallachia will be under Code Yellow for snowfalls and mixed precipitation alert on Wednesday and on Thursday.
Weather conditions are expected to get worse from December 1st , 2.00 a.m. to December 2nd , 8.00 a.m., not only in Moldavia but also in the Eastern and Southern Carpathians.
Regional heavy snowfalls are forecast.
In the rest of the country there will be mixed precipitation. The quantity of water will be more significant mostly in the west and the north-west of the country where locally more than 25 liters (6.60 gallons) - 30 liters (7.92 gallons) per square metre will fall.
Glaze conditions on roads are forecast and wind will locally intensify mostly in the southern and south-eastern mountain areas.
The National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management in Bucharest issued a Code Yellow warning.
The affected hydrological basins are: Tur, Crasna, Barcău, the three Criş rivers, Arieş, Strei, the Old Bega, Bega, Timiş, Bârzava, Moraviţa, Caraş, Nera, Cerna, Jiu and the lower Olt.
