Cluj is in the final of the "European Capital of Innovation 2020" contest

Cluj-Napoca is in the final of the competition for the title of "European Capital of Innovation 2020", along with Milan, Valencia, Vienna and eight other European cities, and could win one million euros.
Funded by Horizon 2020, the European Union's Research and Innovation Program, the award recognizes the merits of European cities that develop dynamic innovative ecosystems designed to address public life challenges and improve people's lives.
The European Commission will announce the winner and occupants of the other winning places in the competition during the "European Research and Innovation Days", which will take place from 22 to 24 September.
