Check-ups continue in crowded places - the authorities check whether the health protection measures are respected.
This weekend alone, hundreds of fines were issued in Bucharest and Constanta, as well as other areas.
In Ialomita, the administrators of the terraces in the Amara resort and their clients were checked to see if they complied with the health and social safety regulations. Transmits RRA correspondent, Clementina Tudor:
Reporter: The verifications started with Popasul Chirana and continued with Amara resort, and at a first check of the field data, the teams applied over 70 fines, states the spokesperson of the Ialomita County Police Inspectorate, Ludmila Dascalu:
Ludmila Dascalu: The mixed crews carried out controls at 56 commercial companies, being applied 73 contravention sanctions both for non-compliance with the norms of social coexistence, and for non-compliance with individual protection measures or economic facts totaling over 13.400 lei.
Reporter: The activity of the terraces in current conditions is very difficult, states George Radu, administrator of a public catering company from Amara.
George Radu: It's very complicated to keep everything in line. I mean, we had to put a lot of money into disinfectants, masks, gloves. Just think that we pay 1.50 lei and use it for an hour, two maximum and you have to take it off.
Reporter: The weekend controls will be extended during the next week.
