Changing the validity of green certificates "not taken into account"

The Romanian authorities are not considering changing the validity of the green certificates or making it conditional on the booster dose, as is the case in several European countries.
For travel within the Community, however, the European rule applies, according to which after 9 months from the conclusion of an anti-COVID-19 vaccination scheme, the digital certificate is valid only if the additional recall is made.
The booster dose is still recommended to ensure the highest level of protection against severe forms of the disease and to significantly reduce the risk of death, said the coordinator of the National Vaccination Campaign, Dr. Valeriu Gheorghita.
8600 people have taken this dose in 24 hours, from yesterday until today, and only about 2550 have started a vaccination scheme.
