Military units in Romania and theaters of operations have held commemorative ceremonies, on Friday morning, for the Romanian military who was killed in the car bomb attack in Kabul, Afghanistan.
He was 38 years old, married and had two children.
"President Klaus Iohannis decorated with the National Order of the 'Star of Romania' in Rank of Knight, with war insignia, sublieutenant Polschi Alexandru Ciprian-Stefan, as a token of gratitude and appreciation for his exceptional devotion and spirit of sacrifice proven in his mission in the theatre of operations in Afghanistan, where he lost his life while on duty", Romanian Presidential Administration informed.

On Tuesday, another Romanian, member of the security staff of the Romanian diplomatic mission in Kabul, died in a terrorist attack that targeted a complex where embassies are located, including the Romanian one.
