Miscellaneous topics in today’s newspapers – from the state of employment in Romania (increasingly less qualified) to the state of crime (increasingly more alarming).
"Romania does not have engineers and foremen, but is full of lawyers."
The newspaper Gândul wrote that Romania is starting to face a shortage of qualified staff. In the naval field, for instance, skilled welders are wanted.
The good ones have left; in Romania there are no more welders, except for those who know how to weld fences. Meanwhile – the Gândul continued – thousands of jurists graduate from universities.
"Mothers threaten the state with tax strike" – announced the Evenimentul Zilei.
Although the authorities did not foresee the reduction of the allowance, parents want to sue the state and to waive the tax payment.
The association "Mothers for mothers" – also stated the Evenimentul Zilei – is already negotiating with two law firms that will represent them in court.
Projects that are discussed in today’s newspapers.
România Liberă : "The Bucharest- Ploieşti highway has been stuck in a yard."
Not being satisfied with the money they have received from the state, the owners of a household are refusing to leave their property which is about to be demolished by bulldozers.
However, the question is: How did the road construction started while there were still properties along the way?
On another site, things go a little faster. "The new National stadium will be ready by spring" – the Jurnalul Naţional announced.
The works are up to date and as soon as the weather permits it, the lawn will be planted.
Mayor Sorin Oprescu made a visit to the future stadium site yesterday, and said that he is satisfied with how works evolved, and that he is determined to propose the International Olympic Committee that the stadium hosts the 2020 Olympics.
But, until the Olympics, we have a true "interlopics" in our own backyard – the Adevărul stated on two pages under the heading "special."
"The interlopics is making some noise in Moldova."
At Galaţi, the interlopers kill each other just like in the Wild West, while in Piatra Neamţ, with the death of Gheorghe Mararu, the prosecutors have lost their main suspect in the case of the commanded assassination.
Meaning the murdered interloper was wanted for allegedly having a rival interloper murdered.
As for Galaţi, this is what happens if the city is under clan’s supremacy – the Adevărul commented – and because many policemen from Galaţi have broken the law alongside with the criminals.
