Central Electoral Office - turnout, 7 p.m.: In the Europarliamentary elections 43.23% / in local elections 42.36%

According to the Central Electoral Office, the turnout by 7pm was as follows:
Up to 19:00, 43.23% of the voters registered on the electoral rolls - 36.73% in urban areas and 51.67% in rural areas - had voted for the election of Romanian members of the European Parliament.
For the election of local public administration authorities, 42.36% of the voters on the electoral rolls - 35.62% in urban areas and 51.15% in rural areas - had voted by 19:00.
At county level, higher percentages for the election of Romanian Members of the European Parliament were recorded in Olt - 51.92%, Giurgiu - 51.39%, Salaj - 51.05%, Valcea - 50.52%, Gorj - 50.06%.
For the election of local government authorities, higher percentages were recorded in Olt - 51.44%, Giurgiu - 50.61%, Salaj - 50.41%, Valcea - 49.87%, Gorj - 49.50%.
Lower turnout for the election of Romanian Members of the European Parliament was recorded in: Braila - 40.73%, Iasi - 37.33%, Galati - 35.97%, Bucharest - 34.65%, Vaslui - 33.29%.
For the election of local public administration authorities, the turnout was lower in Timis - 39.99%, Iasi - 36.27%, Galati - 35.59%, Vaslui - 32.92%, and Bucharest - 32.60%.
BUCHAREST -
For the election of the Romanian members of the European Parliament, the turnout in Bucharest was 34.65%, the situation by sector being as follows: Sector 1 - 40.04%, Sector 2 - 35.41%, Sector 3 - 28.75%, Sector 4 - 35.71%, Sector 5 - 34.26%, Sector 6 - 38.04%.
For the election of local public administration authorities, the turnout in Bucharest was 32.06%, the situation by sector being as follows: Sector 1 - 36.61%, Sector 2 - 33.39%, Sector 3 - 27.24%, Sector 4 - 34.09%, Sector 5 - 32.84%, Sector 6 - 35.20%.
