Celebration of NATO Day in Romania
Defense Minister Mihai Fifor has attended a ceremony in Arad, dedicated to the NATO Day in Romania.

Romanian Defense Minister Mihai Fifor has attended, this morning, alongside the 191st Infantry Battalion "Colonel Radu Golescu", a ceremony in Arad, dedicated to the NATO Day in Romania. Event was followed by Open Door Day and an armament and military technique exhibition.
For 14 years, the Romanian Army has been a loyal, trustworthy partner and a real force for its allies, Mihai Fifor said.
“I wanted to be with the soldiers of the Arad Battalion today, to celebrate 14 years since Romania is a partner of the North Atlantic Alliance. An extremely important day because, after all, Romania has become a member of the most important military alliance in the world, joining an extremely important principle of maintaining peace in the world at any cost, and for 14 years, Romania has been building a picture of an extraordinary modern, dedicated army, that is present in theaters of operations with over 700 soldiers”, Defense Minister added.
Today anniversary, 14 years since Romania's accession to NATO, has been marked in all military units in Romania.
