CCR accused of "false official records"
A penal complaint has been recorded to the Prosecutor General, the Constitutional Court is charged with forgery in official records, the address returned to the Government.

Prosecutors are to examine the way in which the Constitutional Court has sent the Government addresses for sending updated electoral lists in which the referendum was held on July 29.
Prosecutor of the High Court of Cassation and Justice has been notified with regard the falsification of an official document, submitted by the Constitutional Court to the Government.
A person has submitted via email, Prosecutor of High Court of Cassation and Justice a penal complaint in terms of offence of false material in official records as a result of the transmission of conflicting addresses by the Constitutional to the Government.
On 2nd of August, the Constitutional Court has postponed the decision on the impeachment referendum results regarding the dismissal of President Traian Băsescu, and in view of the conflicting data received from public authorities involved, has asked the Government that, until August 31 to submit the updated electoral lists on the basis of which the referendum was held.
Subsequently, the President of the Constitutional Court had sent the Government a new address stating that requested electoral lists, updated according to law 3 of 2000 on referendum and lists under which the popular consultation was held in July 29.
The Court holds that it took these details to be given different interpretations arising in the media and in the press conference of the Government and in which it was said about the update lists of voters and electoral lists not updated on the referendum.
