Car traffic on Transfăgărășan resumed
There is a danger of cliff falls on 18 route segments, between kilometer posts 57-100 and 132 - 800, where car parking is not recommended.

Car traffic is forbidden on the route’s segment between kilometer post 104.000 and 130.000 (Bâlea Cascada) from 21;00pm to 07:00am.
Car traffic on DN7C-Transfăgărășan was resumed, Saturday, for a period of five months, until the end of October.
There is a danger of cliff falls on 18 route segments, between kilometer posts 57-100 and 132 - 800, where car parking is not recommended.
Between kilometer posts 104.000 and 130.000 car traffic has been stopped from 21:00pm to 07:00am.
Problems with the traffic’s circulation can appear around kilometer 64, on the shore of Vidraru lake, where last month a terrain slide occurred.
In the area cars circulate on a two-lane highway, the access of auto vehicles with a total mass of over 20 tons is forbidden.
Car traffic on Transfăgărășan was stopped from the first of November 2011 to the 30th of June 2012, on the segment between Piscu Negru (in Argeș, kilometer 104) and Bâlea Cascada (Sibiu, kilometer 130.800).
