Cannabis plantations in apartments in Bucharest

After DIICOT searching, seven laboratories to produce the cannabis were found, cannabis cultures and dozens of Ecstasy tablets.

Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism Prosecutors - Bucharest Territorial Service, together with officers of the judicial police BCCO Bucharest, discovered 7 laboratories and processing cannabis growing after the searches they made.

The apartments were furnished with facilities necessary for maintenance and cannabis crops operation, the equipment detected having the value of 20,000 Euro / apartment.

D.I.I.C.O.T. Prosecutors raised a total of 472 cannabis plants from these cultures and the amount of approximately 30 kg cannabis.

Anti-Drug Police Service in Bucharest within BCCO and DIICOT prosecutors have dismantled a network specialized in producing crime and drug trafficking of risk and high risk, particularly cannabis.

In this case, it was proven the criminal activity of 12 members of the group, aged between 20 and 45 years, in Bucharest.

Flagrant and house searches

Tuesday and Wednesday, anti-drug police conducted three clamping actions and eight red-house searches in the homes of suspects, on the range of sectors 2 and 4.

There were discovered and raised for research seven crops that were complete systems of maintenance, preparation and portioning of drugs (lighting, air filtration, humidification, irrigation, reflection of light, sealer, heating, thermometers, scales, chippers), about 30 kilograms of cannabis (buds, plant dry mass and green), a hallucinogenic mushroom culture (high risk drugs), 49 ecstasy tablets, approximately five grams of a mixture of cocaine and heroin.

Besides drugs, DIICOT prosecutors discovered 7,300 lei and 220 dollars, which hold data that come from drug trafficking.

Thursday, the suspects are supposed to be presented before a judge of the Bucharest Tribunal, with the arrest proposal.
