The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) has signed a partnership agreement with Radio Romania Actualitati (RRA) to improve on the information framework, support and promote financial literacy to a national audience. The agreement is part of BVB’s strategy to actively communicate investment and entrepreneurship topics to a broader audience.

„People associate the stock exchange with a buy and sell environment, which is self-evident, but there is more to it than that. The stock exchange is also about partnerships and trustworthiness and we are at the forefront of these concepts in the capital market. We are delighted to have signed the partnership with the leading radio station,” said BVB’s CEO Ludwik Sobolewski.

„In a growingly dynamic market, the role of the Bucharest Stock Exchange evolves accordingly: on one hand it supports the financing process in Romania whilst increasing the value of the local companies, on the other hand it is an indicator of the economic health of the Romanian market. It only came natural for Radio Romania Actualitati as the leading radio station to become a reliable partner in this process,” said Dan Preda, Director of Radio Romania Actualitati.

Based on the agreement, the Bucharest Stock Exchange will cooperate with RRA for the coverage of its most important projects such as the Individual Investors Forum, its sixth edition will take place on March 18th at Romexpo, the National Investment Day, scheduled to take place in May, Condus de randament (Driven by Return), the first real-life trading competition organized by BVB, Made in Romania – the League of Entrepreneurs, which will include the top 15 most promising Romanian companies in terms of growth potential, as well as the Bucharest Entrepreneurship Forum, from the 4th of April this year.
