Bucharest, yesterday, had again more than a thousand new cases of COVID-19 diagnosed in 24 hours, and the authorities have adopted a series of measures in the context of the recent negative evolution of the epidemic.
At the meeting of the Municipal Committee for Emergency Situations, it was decided that the hospital managers in the Capital should supplement the number of beds, including in ICU, intended for cases of coronavirus infection, but also those in non-COVID areas.
The Ambulance Service will increase the number of special vehicles for home testing, and an Intensive Care mobile unit will be located again at the "Marius Nasta" Institute. At noon yesterday, in Bucharest, only 5 intensive care beds were available for COVID-19 patients, out of a total of 246 approved by the Public Health Directorate.
